Jolly Phonics Reading Programme
Jolly Phonics is a fun and child-centred approach to teaching literacy through synthetic phonics. With actions for each of the 42 letter sounds, the multi-sensory method is very motivating for children and teachers, enabling students to be able to have very good foundation for phonics and reading literacy.
Arts & Crafts
Art is a fundamental medium that children develop a sense of expression, communication and creativity. Our programme cultivates these traits which are instrumental in helping each child grows and prepare himself for the world ahead.
Speech & Drama
Ilham Child Care has customised an in-house speech & drama English language programme. The program is meant to empower children during their landmark years by equipping them with skills to chart their own journey of discovery.
Cookery
Hands – on cooking will develop them in areas of social emotional development, physical development, cognitive development, and language development.
Digital Learning (ICT)
In this program, children will explore various digital tools and apps where they will get to practice their typing skills, create digital storybooks and even learn how to operate a digital camera!
Montessori
Our Montessori classroom for ages 18 months through 6 years old is a “living room” for children. Children choose their work from among the self-correcting materials displayed on open shelves, and they work in specific work areas.
Music & Movement
Students will be introduced to different musical instruments as well as the different genres of music and a variety of dance movements.
Martial Arts Programme
Ilham Child Care has engaged an external vendor Kali Majapahit to run its martial arts programme. Students will learn basic martial art movements as well as engaged in physical exercises through this program.
Malay Immersion Programme
Malay immersion program teaches children history, culture and traditions of the Malays through a unique IBL approach. Students will also learn morals and values through folktales as well as evergreen songs.
Primary One Preparatory Programme
For Madrasah Schools
An enrichment program in a fun and interactive environment to groom your child before sitting for their entrance test. We cover huruf hijaiyyah including penmanship activities, learn Arabic vocabularies, Arabic numbers, memorisation of daily prayers (Dua’s) and surah.
We will also provide mock tests to ensure that they ready for the actual Madrasah entrance test.
